About TimTim Kennedy was appointed to the Erie County Legislature to represent the Second District in December 2004 and successfully won reelection in November 2005 and 2007. Throughout his first two terms in County Hall, Tim Kennedy has distinguished himself as one of the most accomplished and finest leaders in county government. Tim entered his role as legislator during what was Erie County government's lowest point. As a freshman legislator, Tim was cast into Erie County's fiscal crisis where his life education and experiences would navigate him to make necessary vital decisions to advance this region toward prosperity. His first months were a true testament to his leadership and ability to justly represent the residents of the Second District and Erie County as a whole. As a legislator, Tim has played a part in many different committees, including his current roles as Chairman of Economic Development, a senior member of the Public Safety Committee, and as a member of the Community Enrichment Committee.
